Association for Financial Technology Spring Summit
The Association for Financial Technology (AFT) is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit membership organization that serves as a collective of companies that discuss and analyze financial technology issues.
The AFT is also a collective that contributes services, data, or solutions to nearly all financial institutions within the U.S. This organization hosts a number of events each year, including conferences every spring and fall.
Dates:
Each summit is a three-day event that features panel discussions, keynote speakers and breakout sessions. The Spring Summit is scheduled to be held between March 26-28 next year.
Location:
The 2023 Spring Summit will be held at the JW Marriott Tampa Water Street Hotel in Tampa, Florida.
Rates and Reservations:
Currently, AFT member companies will be charged $1,595 for the first registrant and $1,395 for any additional registrants. Unfortunately, there aren’t any prices for non-member companies. If you wish to attend the AFT Spring Summit, it’s advised to get in touch with their corporate office.
Other prices include $299 to bring your spouse or another guest and a la carte pricing. The a la carte pricing for a spouse or guest includes:
- $75 to attend the Welcome Reception
- $150 to attend the special event held on Monday night
- $75 to attend the farewell reception
- $90 to participate in the spouse or guest activity scheduled

The 2023 Fintech Meetup is scheduled to take place between March 19-22 at Aria, Las Vegas.

Registration is live, and the rates range from free to $3,200. Those who are eligible to apply for free tickets include:

- Merchants
- Banks with under $100 billion in assets
- Employees in transition
- Credit unions
There’s currently a 33% off discount on all paid tickets. If any of the above choose to pay instead, the current price with the discount is set at $1,025. Growth stage startups, students, professors and nonprofits can also grab tickets at the same discounted price.\
General attendees can also get discounted tickets for $2,150. By far, other than the free tickets, early-stage startups can get in the cheapest, with tickets costing a mere $795.
National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders Conferences
The National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders (NAGGL) will be hosting its 39th year as the industry’s largest meeting of SBA7(a) lending professionals.
This event will highlight where the industry currently is and what’s required to tackle challenges blocking the way forward. Those who attend will have the opportunity to grow their skills and gain useful insight and best practices.
There are currently three conferences scheduled:
- Spring Conference from April 25-27 in St. Louis, Missouri
- Leadership Summit from July 11-12 in Albuquerque, New Mexico
- Annual Conference from November 6-8 in New Orleans, Louisiana
Location, Room Rates and Reservations:
The Spring Conference is set to be held at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at the Arch, with a room rate set at $209. Registration will open in mid-January and will cut off on April 1 or when the event sells out.
The 2023 Leadership Summit will be held at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya, and registration will open in early April. Currently, there’s no information regarding the room rate or the registration cut-off date.
The Annual Conference will take place at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans with a room rate of $249. Registration will open near the end of June, and the hotel cut-off is set for October 13 or until the rooms are sold out.
Bank Director Conference: Experience FinXTech
The Bank Director Conference: Experience FinXTech is a two-day conference that focuses on the role of technology in the commercial banking industry.

The LendIt Fintech event is one of the largest fintech events in New York City. This event will host 350 speakers, 225 sponsors and 20,000 meeting requests and is expected to have more than 4,000 attendees.

- Catherine Porter, VP of Meta Financial Technologies
The LendIt Fintech 2023 conference is scheduled to take place from May 10-11.
Location and Rates:
Currently, the only information available now is that the event will take place at the Javits Center in New York City and that those who register now can get the early bird rate and save $1,000.
Finovate Spring and Fall Conferences
The Finovate Spring and Fall conferences are two of the most well-known. Each conference showcases the latest and greatest technology for the banking and financial sectors.
Those who attend the event can experience fintech demos and gather key insights from the industry’s top thought leaders.
The 2023 Finovate Spring Conference will include:
- More than 1,000 senior attendees, with more than 50% coming from financial institutions
- More than 50 fintech demos
- More than 100 keynote speakers
The 2023 Fall conference includes:
- More than 60 demos

American Bankers Association Annual Convention
The American Bankers Association (ABA) Annual Convention is a premier event for the commercial banking and lending industry. 2023’s convention is to be determined, but this year the ABA Annual Convention will take place at the JW Marriott in Austin, TX.
